• Catechists facilitate and/or lead faith formation sessions using age-appropriate material provided. Catechists should be comfortable in large and small group settings and have a love of children, a good sense of humor, a willingness to share their faith and an openness to further their own personal faith growth.

  • This fraternal men’s organization is open to all over the age of 18. Their purpose is to give witness to the faith through word and deed. The local Council, Ave Maria Council #5521, is located at 61533 S. Ironwood Road. Meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month. The cooperative action of the membership hosts a Fish Fry on the 1st Friday of each month and every Friday in Lent. During the summer, they sponsor a Golf League on Wednesday at Robin Hood Golf Course and, during the winter, they sponsor a Bowling League at Chippewa Bowl on Wednesday nights.   • This organization, designed for the women of the parish, meets on the first Wednesday of the month. Their involvement in spiritual and social activities fosters a greater devotion to our Blessed Mother and helps establish a ‘sense of community.’

  • This group men and women seeks to grow deeper in Christ by building relationships with and offering first-hand service to those in need. SVdP meets regularly in Christian fellowship to pray and reflect upon their experiences. At St. Jude our group has a strong focus on spirituality and sharing their faith.

    Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month in the school library.

  • As described in the Guidelines issued by our Bishop, the Parish Pastoral Council should consist of a representation of the community that helps the Pastor give total spiritual care for all.

    The Parish Council meets the 3rd Monday of the month in the Catherine of Siena Room. The role of the Council is to promote the Church's mission to live and communicate the love, values, and teaching of Christ in our world. The Council shares in the responsibility for the ongoing life and development of the faith community, working together with parishioners to provide support for their efforts to live as followers of Christ.

  • Behind the scene workers! There are approximately 30 persons presently involved. They help to keep the Church and sanctuary clean so that the atmosphere is always inviting and conducive to prayer.

  • The members of this Committee, chosen by the Pastor for their experience and skills at fiscal management, assist in the administration of financial matters. The diocesan stipulation is that the membership serve a term of five years after which they must sit out for at least one year after which a member may be requested to serve another term.

  • The primary objective of this Committee is to take care of the ‘brick and mortar’ of the parish. Preventive maintenance, repair, replacement and landscaping are some of the areas that the Committee deals in.
