Mrs. Modlin is our fifth grade/middle school science teacher. Mrs. Modlin grew up in the Indianapolis area and attended Purdue University where she studied Elementary Education. She has an additional certification in middle school science and has taught for 8 years.
Mrs. Modlin decided to become a teacher because of the immense impact that can be made on students through education. Some of her favorite pastimes are camping, hiking, biking, and gardening.
Mrs. Modlin engages her students through meaningful discussion. Her teaching motto is, “The task of the modern educator is not to cut down jungles, but to irrigate deserts.”-C.S. Lewis
