Mary Johnson teaches Pre-Kindergarten at St. Jude. She grew up in Mishawaka and graduated from Ball State University. She has been teaching for 9 years. Mary was inspired to go into teaching after taking a child development class in high school. She enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and son. Her favorite pastimes include: reading Harry Potter books, camping, and cooking. Mrs. Johnson believes that singing and being excited about what she teaches helps her students in their learning process. She engages her students by playing math games and doing science experiments. Mary's teaching motto is "When everyone is having fun learning, then a lot can be accomplished together."
