If you would like to sponsor part of a stained glass window, contact the Parish Office. Please talk to Mary or Fr. John for more details about any of the above.

Thank you for your support!

Our Time to BuildAs Fr. John stated in a bulletin article at the end of June, the south wall of the church (confessional wall) will have 3 niches. The middle niche will have our Patron, St. Jude. Father asked if Blessed John Paul or Mother Teresa of Calcutta would be options for the other two niches. We had two people step up to help pay for Pope John Paul II but no one had strong feelings about the other.

If you have an idea for a Saint (or Blessed) that you would want to sponsor please see Fr. John or Mary soon. We will have to make a final decision soon. One of our parishioners mentioned that it would be nice to have a North American Saint represented.

Our 'Wish List' is getting checked off. Below are the items that are still looking for sponsors:

Pews, long 2,000
Pews, short 1,000
Chairs (We need a total of 80 chairs for the cry rooms) 165

In order to do this simple and profound work, everyone must do their part. Contributing your time, your talent and your treasure is not about giving gifts equal to that of your neighbor, but in giving equal sacrifice. This idea comes from the Bible’s teaching about proportionate giving and the blessings of sacrifice. No gift impresses God in terms of dollar amounts given, number of hours spent or amount of talent provide. God looks at gifts as an extension of the love and obedience with which they are given and proportion of resources from which they come. In other words, God looks at the heart. Please join us in prayer, study, and worship. Begin now to pray that God will guide St. Jude and leave Christ’s imprint on individual hearts. Ask God to keep us on the path of obedience and trust. Pray that the “Our Time to Build” campaign will accomplish what it is meant to do. Please re-member that your experience with personal sacrifice is not a one-time check or contribution, but a profound way of giving through your time, talent and treasure.

This is “Our Time to Build!”

Achieving our dreams and visions will be a big task. If each of us will accept a small part of the task, we can get this big job done!

In the next few weeks, you will be hearing more details about “Our Time to Build” and how we plan to accomplish this challenge. You will have an opportunity to serve on one of several teams that will be organized to help spread the word about this campaign and show people how they can respond. You will be fully trained and prepared for your task. No one will be expected to ask for money or pledges.

As you become involved, you will learn how important this project really is to the future of our parish. When asked to serve, please say, “Yes, I will attend a training meeting to better understand what I am being asked to consider doing.” You may make the decision to accept the responsibility after the training meeting.
New Stained Glass Windows
In the remodel of St. Jude Church, we are planning on the replacement of the current north window wall with stained glass windows, complete with images in three of the panels. The center window will be the Divine Mercy, Jesus with the children to the left side of center and the Holy Family for the right side of center. If there are any who wish to help with the cost of any of these and have the windows "in remembrance of" a family or parents/family members, please make contact with me or Mary Krisch as soon as possible. I think, and Bishop agreed, we would be the only parish with an image of Divine Mercy anywhere in the area. With our school and the parish's Apostolic mission to children these many years, we felt Jesus with the children would be a good choice.

The success of “Our Time to Build” will rely on participation from all among our parish family. We would like to say a special thanks to those who have already giv-en of their time and talent and said “Yes!” when called:
