Young Vincentians is an extension of The Saint Vincent de Paul conference. Students in grades 3-8 can participate. Meeting dates are every other Thursday in the 4th grade classroom. Young Vincentians collects food for our parish pantry at each meeting in addition to various activities, including making Christmas cards for our parish shut ins, volunteering time at the SVdP thrift store, and adopting families in need for Christmas. Prayer and fellowship is incorporated into each meeting to encourage learning and growing in our Catholic faith.
Fabric Art Club
The St. Jude Fabric Art Club is open to students in grades 5-8. The Fabric Art Club meets every other Thursday in the Art Room. Students will have the opportunity to learn crocheting, weaving, embroidery, macramé, quilting, and more.
The St. Jude Heritage Club meets every other Monday in Mr. Heminger’s 6th grade classroom to learn more about cultural diversity within our school, parish, and community. Students have the opportunity to learn about other ethnic groups through interviews, cultural events, and field trips.
