There are a number of programs at St. Jude in which you can participate to help us acquire school supplies, monies, and other benefits that we would otherwise have to draw from tuition or other sources. Here is a short list:

...derived from the first word of the Entrance Antiphon at Mass: “Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, rejoice. Indeed, the Lord is near!” (Phil.4:4-5)

Advent is half over and Christmas is soon to follow! This Sunday is further set apart by the custom of wearing rose vestments and the lighting of the rose Advent candle.
Today begins the season of Advent. At the heart of this season is a call to holiness, a call to look at what needs transforming in our lives and in our world.

May we enter this Holy Season learning God’s ways and walking in God’s paths with humility and an ardent love that will worthily prepare us for Christmas.

This is also the beginning of a new Church Year and the Cycle C readings.
