HOLY HOUR: at St. Jude is the Thursday before First Friday each month; 6-7 p.m.  If you would like an e-mail or text reminder, we will form a list for those needing that reminder and send it out a couple days ahead.  Simply send your e-mail to the office (Fran) or your cell number, and we will create the list.  It will not be used for anything other than parish business and will not be given to others.

School News from the Principal
I would like to share some short thoughts with our parishioners and school families for Catholic Schools Week, mainly to offer my great appreciation for the support of prayers, time, talent, and treasure from so many of our parishioners over this last year and indeed for the years and decades that many of you have been supporting St. Jude. Each year that goes by I get to meet more and more members of our community who grew up in this parish, who once attended St. Jude, graduated from St. Jude, or sent their children to St. Jude.

Tuesday, January 22, the Church in the United States observes the annual “Day of Prayer for the Legal Protection of Unborn Children.” This day is set aside to pray for the legal protection of human life and to do penance for the violations to human dignity through abortion. We are called to observe this day through prayer and penance.

Faith-based 21st Century Instruction: Living for Christ, Learning for Life!
Saturday, February 9, 9:00 a.m. - Sunday, February 10, 1:00 p.m.
Lindenwood Retreat Center, Plymouth
Theme: You are enough.

Join us for a weekend of fellowship, healing, and spiritual growth! This year's retreat is centered on the phrase "You are enough." As young adults, we can often find ourselves distracted by our busy lives and feel the pressure of never-ending expectations that leave us wondering how we will ever measure up. Can you relate? Come step away from the craziness of life to rediscover the truth of who you are, that you have a God who loves you just as you are, and that He in all His glory is enough for you.
