Dear Friends and Parishioners of St. Jude,

As we celebrate the sending of the Holy Spirit upon the Church this weekend, we give thanks to Christ for His gift to the church. Personally, I would like to thank you for welcoming me to the neighborhood and parish community.

Come celebrate the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus with Father Julius Friday, June 19 with "Mass On The Grass" at 6 p.m.
This year St. Jude will host a virtual Round-up event for our registered and prospective incoming classes. Both events will be available to join as a Google Meet.

This important collection is vital to our diocesan efforts to educate our Diocesan Seminarians.

If you are unable to contribute this week, please bring your contribution in the Pentecost Collection envelope and place it in the offertory basket at the next Mass you attend, or feel free to donate online, at the diocesan website:
www.diocesefwsb.org/diocesan-donations

Thank you for your generous support for seminarian education!

In light of suspension of the Holy Mass and other public liturgical services as we wait out the COVID-19 pandemic, St. Jude has established a YouTube channel for live streaming and recording its services. We are excited to announce that parishioners may also register to attend limited seating weekend Masses starting on May 23-24. USE THIS LINK TO RESERVE YOUR MASS TIME NOW. (Please carefully read and review all restrictions and limitations and make sure that you fully agree to the rules before submitting your registration.)
Indiana's School Choice legislation now makes it possible for qualifying students in Grades K-12 to attend St. Jude and receive significant financial support. For example, a family of 5 making less than $85,100 may qualify for at least 50% of their tuition paid. A family of 5 earning less than $113,500 may qualify for an SGO scholarship. There are many pathways for students to qualify. Visit the DOE website for details about the program and eligibility requirements. Be sure to schedule a personal visit if you would like to discuss enrolling at St. Jude. Our annual lottery date is May 1 or the first business day thereafter.

The Young Vincentians of St. Jude School are collecting travel-sized toiletries. The children are going to pack them into care bags to be distributed to the homeless. Please help by bringing in items and placing them in the box in the lobby.  This is a great time to clean out all of those “unopened” shampoo, lotion, and soap bottles that you have collected from traveling. Other items of interest are toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, razors, etc.  The children are also creating prayer cards to go into the bags.

Thank you for your support
